The Universities Sustainable Development Goals Summit is an annual gathering of students, academics and professionals to discus the basic tenets of the Global Goals and how to drive academic excellence around them. The maiden edition which was hosted in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria from the 27th of February to 1st of March was geared towards activating the Decade of Action as we race towards 2030.
The Global Goals remains one of the most coherent plans on making the world a better place for posterity and future residents of the planet, we believe that here in Nigeria, one of the best ways to go is to have the largest youths bulge talking and working actively around these goals; The Universities Students.
Although the Universities are the primary targets of the summit, secondary schools, locals and other professionals from across different works are welcomed at the summit. It is our utmost priority and prerogative to ensure that we can contribute our quota actively to making the world a better place than we met it.
